A common problem for women and increasingly for men is torn earlobe. This is usually due to a traumatic injury. No one pulls their earrings out on purpose, they get caught on clothes or babies pull them, resulting in a split earlobe. Torn earlobes can be easily repaired under local anesthesia as an office procedure. Sutures are removed in one week, and ears may be re-pierced in eight weeks.
Many insurance carriers will approve the surgical repair of an earlobe which has been torn as a result of a traumatic injury. We will get approval from your insurance carrier, prior to accepting insurance. If you wish to have your insurance verified,
